Afolabi Andu is a board room executive, public speaker, economist and publisher whose name is synonymous with the African-Global Project; a role he has played quite remarkably for over thirty years. He is a man who operates with great passion, excellence, commitment and dedication.
Afolabi, an MBA degree graduate can also be described as a thought leader, a brand strategist, a highly skilled organizer, and a brilliant communicator.
He is the recipient of numerous awards such as the Millennium Achievers Award presented by Sir Eddie George at the Bank of England in 1999, the Nigerian Golden Jubilee Award in 2010, the Nigerian Centenary Award in 2014 presented by Ambassador (Dr) Dalhatu Tafida, the former Nigerian High Commissioner to the Courts of St James and subsequently the European Leadership Award presented to him at the House of Lords in 2019.
Some of his numerous high-impact initiatives across the globe include Invest Africa, African Renaissance, The Best of Africa Expo, Greenland Brands, 1st View TV, The Nigerian Global Business Forum, The Nigerian Achievers Awards and a host of others. He is the author and publisher of several sector-based publications.
Afolabi sits on numerous corporate boards and is currently the CEO of Global Africa Investments Ltd, an investment company established to promote bilateral trade/ investment between Africa and the world at large.
